Useage
The KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand bar
needs to be positioned at the very bottom left of the page or screen
so that it bleeds off the left & right side and bottom.
The KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand bar
always appears at the bottom of the page except for circumstances where
the logo would be visually blocked. Please contact
Nancy Hunt-Weber at (415) 546-2091 for correct useage in these cases.
On an 8.5 x 11 piece, the maximum
height of the KIMPTON "every hotel
tells a story" co-brand bar is
5/8" (.6" decimal). Using this
as the standard, proportion the bar up
for sizes larger than 8.5x11.
No matter what the width of the final product, the co-brand bar can never
be less than .45" in height. The minimum height for the KIMPTON "every
hotel tells a story" co-brand bar on the web is 50 pixels.
Position the co-brand bar so that the word KIMPTON is indented
by the width of the letter "K" from the left edge of the page.
The 800 # and web address is indented from the right edge by the same
measurement as on the left (see figure 1-1).
There are 4 KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand
bars. These bars are to be used as follows:
1.The KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand
bar with the 800 # and the web address is preferred and should be used
whenever possible.
2. If size constraints will not allow version #1 to fit properly, please
use the bar with the web address only (see figure 1-1).
3. This option features the pillars "care, comfort, style flavor,
fun" (see figure 1-1). Use only if the 800 # & web address appear
prominently in the text of the document.
4. If size is extremely limited, 800#, web address or "pillars" do
not have to be used (see figure 1-4).
The KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand bar
downloads in blue however, it can be changed to the color of the hotel
brand (see figures 1-2 through 1-4).
The KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand bar,
a city list, 800# and web address appear on the backs of all hotel business
cards (see figure 1-4). This information takes up the entire back surface
area and is standard to all properties. Dye cut business cards can be
an exception and will be handled on a case by case basis.
For a document that is produced on a desktop printer and cannot bleed
off the page or is on a non-bleed advertisement, simulate a bleed with
a border that consists of a fine line to which the KIMPTON "every
hotel tells a story" co-brand bar would butt (see figure 1-5).

Introduction
When the KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand
logo is used within the body of a document, such as an invitation or
a document that features multiple sponsors, use the logo shown here which
features the word KIMPTON within a rectangle with the words "every
hotel tells a story" is used beneath it.

Useage
For most circumstances, the KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand
rectangle in the blue (PMS 072) will be used as shown in figure 2-1.
In the event that the KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand
rectangle will be placed on a color background, it can be reversed out,
as shown in figure 2-2.

Introduction
All KIMPTON hotel property employees should use the KIMPTON "every
hotel tells a story" co-brand rectangle shown in figure 4-1 for their email signatures.
Corporate hotel sales and marketing employees also have the option of using this
logo.
Figure 4-2 shows how the KIMPTON "every hotel
tells a story" co-brand rectangle should
be placed within the email. It should be placed flush-left
following
the employee information and before the Kimptonhotels.com
web address and promotional copy.
The maximum width for the KIMPTON "every hotel tells a story" co-brand
rectangle is 129 pixels. The logo should not be altered in any way
and should be placed into the email in its original downloaded format.
