The Pacific Palisades Hotel logotype is the cornerstone of the hotel's identity. The logo instantly identifies the Pacific Palisades Hotel on all communications and products. The basic logotype design comprises three elements. The word Pacific appears in a black banner on the left side of the logo and does not changes. "Palisades" is located within a banner at the top of the logo and can be one of three colors: orange, purple, and green, as shown in figures 1-3. Within the yellow logo box is a black swirl that signifies the sun and a black "squiggle" that can signify either the waves or the mountains. The sun and the mountains or waves represent the geographical nature of Vancouver as a destination and the location of the Pacific Palisades Hotel, nestled between the North Shore mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
These are the only acceptable configurations of the logotype elements. The Pacific Palisades Hotel logo should always appear in the correct form and colors as specified in these guidelines. The logo should be displayed clearly and in a prominent location, independent of other design elements.
